No. 1 Alabama falls to San Diego State

Losses are never easy. Crimson Tide fans everywhere are shocked after the No. 1 seed team fell short Friday night to the San Diego State Aztecs.

WVUA 23 Sports witnessed the heartbreaking loss first hand in Louisville.

Aztec fans were ecstatic. Tide fans? Not so much. WVUA 23 caught up with both sides right after the buzzer.

“The refs were blind,” said Crimson Tide fan Kailey Brown. “They couldn’t see anything.”

“There’s always football season,” Alabama fan Josh Brown said.

“Our team showed up to let Alabama know this ain’t football, it’s basketball,” San Diego State fan Jose Mendez said.

They don’t call it March Madness for nothing.
