New images of universe captured by NASA telescope

A NASA telescope in space for less than a year captured images of the cosmos that are as stunning as they are significant.

Launched on December 25, 2021, the James Webb telescope is NASA’s largest and most powerful space science telescope that captures images the human eye cannot see.

NASA released a few of the images the telescope captured yesterday, mesmerizing the world and the scientific community.

UA Astronomy professors are celebrating the release of these new images.

University of Alabama astronomy professor Jeremy Bailin, explained the excitement surrounding these newly-released images.

” We will be able to see galaxies that are really far away, which means that they are really young. We will see what galaxies were like when they were young a long, long time ago that is one of the things I am most excited about seeing,” he said.
