TUSCALOOSA- Ever need to go to the convenience store, but you were just too tired?
Well there’s a new app that might change your life. Ugo, is a new Tuscaloosa business created for people to get the goods they need without ever leaving their home.
John Newman, Will Randle and Cole Mcguire are the creators behind the app.
“What we try to do is deliver convenience,” Newman said. “If you’re studying for a test, if you’re on lunch break, you don’t have to go out. You can continue doing what you’re doing and we will come to you.”
The smartphone app offers 250-plus items to choose from, and delivery takes as little as 10 minutes.
“We kind of created a new market in between grocery delivery and between courier services,” Randle said. “This is great when you’re sitting home and you’re like, ‘Dang, I really wish I had X, Y and Z.’ Chances are we have it and we will bring it to you.”
