NEIGHBORHOOD HOSTS DRIVE-THRU BIRTHDAY PARTY SURPRISE
Here’s something that might brighten up your week.
When a 14-year-old’s birthday party wound up canceled because of coronavirus, the girl’s friends and family banded together and hosted a drive-thru surprise instead.
Riley McLey’s birthday was celebrated with a parade in her neighborhood, with signs, music and birthday cheer.
Both Riley and her parents said it was a fantastic surprise.
“Totally was unexpected,” said Riley’s mother. “I was just thinking we were going to have a nice, quiet little birthday celebration with her. Some of her friends got together and decided to do this, and it was just real sweet.”
