NEED A MEAL? AMERICAN LUNCH FOOD TRUCK IS HANDING THEM OUT, NO QUESTIONS ASKED

Five American

If you’re in need of a hearty lunch this week or in the weeks to come, keep your eyes out for the American Lunch food truck.

The nonprofit truck run by the owners of Five restaurant and Chuck’s Fish will be parked in front of Five. Anyone needing a meal can get one for free, no questions asked.

Servers will be handing out bagged lunches to anyone who wants one, starting at 11 a.m.

“We go out to different places in the community three times a week normally, but since we have all the COVID-19 stuff going on we’re just trying to ramp up our efforts,” said Five General Manager Erin Barfield. “We’re gonna be doing some bag lunches for as long as we can so people can just grab and go to try to keep germs to a minimum while still providing some needed sack lunches and food for the area.”
