Need a Christmas Tree? Tuscaloosa Men’s Club set up in usual spot

The Tuscaloosa Men’s Club is hosting its annual Christmas tree sale this year from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays until the last tree is sold. You can visit the sale in front of Bowlero next to University Mall on McFarland Boulevard.
The tradition has been ongoing for more than 60 years, and purchases support the YMCA of Tuscaloosa in providing services like youth sports, senior fitness programs and day camp scholarships.
Men’s Club Director Ted Sexton said they have a variety of trees and are expecting them to sell fast this year.
“We have three different species this year,” said Sexton. “We have Balsam, Frasier and Noble Firs. Trees run from about $70 to $140 if you’d like a 14-foot tree. We think we will be here through Saturday, so if folks are still looking for a Christmas tree, we would love for them to come out and support the YMCA.”
