<p>Alabama gas prices have seen a slight incline over the past week.</p>

Prices are sitting at an average of $2.28 per gallon in the state. However, a 0.3 cent increase has been noticed across Alabama.

Gas is 4.4 cents per gallon cheaper than a month ago and stands 31.6 cents per gallon lower than last year.

Alabamians will not find a gas station higher than $2.79 per gallon or one lower than $2.07. This is cheap compared to the most expensive gas in the United States, standing at $5.52 per gallon.

Alabama’s small increase comes after prices fall 0.7 cents per gallon nationally over the past week. Prices are 35 cents higher, on average, compared to Alabama.
