MUNFORD WOMAN DIES IN TALLADEGA COUNTY CRASH

JACKSONVILLE POST — A Munford woman died after a single-vehicle crash Saturday night.

According to Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel, 25-year-old Jessie Elizabeth Davis was seriously injured when the 2001 Chevrolet Suburban she was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Davis was thrown from the vehicle becauseshe was not wearing a seat belt. She was airlifted to UAB Hospital where she later died.

The crash occurred on Shocco Springs Road, 8 miles west of Lincoln. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate the incident.
