MLK Boulevard IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

A $30 million proposal from Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox could give the city a new look.
This will allow the city to elevate local infrastructure through the “Transforming Tuscaloosa” Legislation.
A $3 million road improvement project for Martin Luther King Boulevard.
District 2 Tuscaloosa City Councilman Harrison Taylor says the upgrade will take the district in a positive direction.
The council is expected to make a decision in November.
