METRO ANIMAL SHELTER OFFERS PART-TIME CUDDLES

Thinking about getting a new furry friend, but not sure if you’re ready for the responsibility?

The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter offers an adoption “happy hour” every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. where anyone can visit and adopt a cat or dog to spend the day with.

All that’s needed is a photo ID and a quick questionnaire and then you’re on your way with  your temporary new friend.

Regulars at the shelter said the event isn’t just beneficial for potential adopters, but it’s healthy for the pets, too.
