Metro Animal Shelter, local bar team up for fundraiser

Sunday, April 2, people could enjoy a drink and help support a good cause at the same time.

Session Cocktails teamed up with the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter for its “Cocktails and Canines” event.

Qadeem Hassam, the operating partner of Session Cocktails said this event was focused on sending dogs to good homes.

“We are very excited to partner with Tito’s Vodka to help the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter to be able to work with them and also give a helping hand to getting some of these fur babies adopted today, ” said Hassam.

The proceeds from every cocktail sold during the event were donated to the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter and Tito’s Vodka matched each donation.

Adoption fees were waived for anyone adopting an animal while at the event.
