METH, COCAINE SEIZED AT HUNTSVILLE USED TIRE BUSINESS

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) – Police say they seized more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine when narcotics agents served a search warrant and arrested a Huntsville business owner.

Martin Acevedo, 47, faces charges of trafficking in meth and cocaine after authorities searched ROF Used Tires last week.

Acevedo is held in Madison County Jail with bail set at $300,000.

Police said the street value of the drugs is more than $163,000.

Additional arrests are expected in the ongoing investigation.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Acevedo.
