TUSCALOOSA – If you’re a high school student interested in higher learning — or the parent of one — Mercedes-Benz is offering a scholarship that could help fund your schooling.

The Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Scholarship Program helps high school seniors and the children of Mercedes workers who plan on continuing their education in college or through a vocational or technical program.

Scholarship honorees receive a one-time scholarship of $2,000. Up to 10 awards are granted each year, with half the scholarships going to high school students within Tuscaloosa or Jefferson County and the other half going to children of Mercedes workers.

Interested in the program? Fill out an application here and mail it in along with a current, complete official school transcript. The application deadline is March 15.
