I had the opportunity to run and play with this week’s pet, and if you’re in need of a new companion this little girl may just be the perfect match.

Meet Gypsy! A 1- to 2-year-old female dalmation terrior mix. Her smooth white coat with black spots is sure to catch anyone’s eye. She does have some energy, so be prepared, but she calms down nicely to be loved on.

“She’s just so darn sweet and we just love her, she’s playful and kind to other dogs, gets along with everybody and she would just be a great pet for someone,” said Tina Miller with the Humane Society of West Alabama.

Gypsy was picked up by animal control and taken to Metro Animal Shelter. She eventually made her way to the dog facility with the humane society.

“She’s housebroken, she’s spayed, she’s gotten a clean bill of health and she is so ready to go home to her forever home,” Miller said.

If you would like to give gypsy her “Furever Home” you can contact the Humane Society of West Alabama at 205 – 554 – 0011 or at
