MCDONALD’S WORKER RECOVERING AFTER HE WAS SHOT IN THE FACE THIS MORNING

A McDonald’s employee is recovering after he was shot in the face early this morning at the Five Points location.

Tuscaloosa police said it happened around 4:15 a.m., when the 52-year-old victim said he was approached by three black men wearing ski masks at the back door demanding that he open the door. The victim said one of the suspects, who was carrying a hand gun, shot him when he wouldn’t open the door.

Witnesses said the suspects ran from the scene heading east toward Highway 216.
