Marlon Humphrey

Former Crimson Tide and current Baltimore Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey hosted a football camp in Hoover over the weekend.

The invite-only camp brought high school players from around the state to compete against one another. It gave the players a chance to showcase their skills and improve.

“Just the chance to you know compete at a high level I think you know some of these guys have zero offers some of these guys have a lot so just the chance for the overall experience to get an invite to something that a lot of guys haven’t been invited to too many camps this is their first opportunity kind of just guys from all around the state,” Humphrey said.

Humphrey brought several people to help him coach the afternoon session, including Tampa Bay quarterback and Bessemer native Jameis Winston.
