MARENGO COUNTY CHURCH DESTROYED IN FIRE TUESDAY NIGHT

A church in Marengo County was burned to the ground Tuesday evening.

Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church, located in the Old Springhill community near Gullion, caught on fire between 7 and 8 p.m., a parishioner said.
