ANNISTON, Ala. (AP) -A man wanted in the kidnapping of an elderly woman was captured in Kentucky Tuesday night.

Tony Lamar White, 47, was captured in Richmond, Kentucky, by the Kentucky Highway Patrol.
White was wanted for arrest after a missing 75-year-old woman was found in a house associated with him, in a closet and bound with tape.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office said on its Facebook page Tuesday that there’s a $2,500 reward for information leading to White’s arrest.

Sheriff Matthew Wade says the woman was found Monday evening, about six hours after her family reported her missing.

Her car and some groceries were in her driveway, and her phone and keys were in the house.

Wade says surveillance video identified White as a suspect. News outlets report that sheriff’s deputies checked out several homes connected to him.
