MAN SHOT AT BURGER KING IN TUSCALOOSA

TUSCALOOSA – Investigators are seeking leads and asking for the public’s help after a man was shot in the parking lot of a Burger King restaurant in Tuscaloosa.

Investigators said a Hispanic male was shot Thursday afternoon around 2:45 at Burger King near the interstate overpass on McFarland Boulevard. Investigators believe it may be the result of a robbery and drug transaction.

The victim was transported to Birmingham and is listed in stable condition.

Investigators are interviewing two acquaintances of the victim that were with him during the shooting, witnesses and processing evidence that was recovered at the scene.
