Man recovering after dog attack in Berry

A 52-year-old man is fighting for his life after being attacked by a pack of dogs earlier this week in Berry.

William Traweek’s family confirmed to WVUA 23 he’s in critical condition at UAB Hospital. Traweek’s niece told us he was having car trouble on Crowe Avenue in Berry when the attack happened.

She said three of the dogs were killed, and the others ran away. We’re told a nurse passing by was able to render aid to Traweek.
