MAN KILLED IN SINGLE-VEHICLE CRASH THIS MORNING
A single-vehicle crash in Walker County this morning claimed the life of a man from Russellville.
Eugene Phillip Walker, 23, was killed when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree. The crash happened at 6:30 a.m. on Alabama Highway 5, about 5 miles north of Jasper.
Alabama State Troopers said Walker was not wearing a seat belt, and the crash is being investigated.
