Tuscaloosa Police said it happened around 4:50 p.m. at the complex, located at 2515 Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.

When police arrived, they said they found Alex Dewayne Bedwell, 38, in the parking lot, with several gunshot wounds. Bedwell was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect, Dillon Michael Lee, 25, was still at the complex when officers arrived and was taken into custody.
