MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER IN BROADMOORE GARDENS SHOOTING
A woman says she was walking with her 3-year-old child and three others at Broadmoore Gardens apartments on James I Harrison Parkway when a man opened fire on them.
Police said the victim said they group fled when Jarvis Hudson, 29, started shooting. The victim said Hudson chased her and her child and fired more rounds at them.
No one was injured.
Police said it appears Hudson and the victim knew each other and that the event stems from prior issues that Hudson has with the victim’s friends. The event happened around the A, B and E buildings of the complex.
Police said Hudson fled the scene but was located later in the evening. He was charged with two counts of attempted murder.
