A Tuscaloosa County man has been charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied dwelling. But he says it was all an accident. Tuscaloosa County Homicide Investigators responded to Long Meadow Drive in Cottondale Tuesday night around 9:30. The victim told authorities he was sitting in his home when he heard at least six gunshots. Police found where one projectile entered the back bedroom  of the victim’s house. Twenty Three year old Dustin Cline was questioned and arrested. He lives through the woods on Crestfield Drive behind the victim’s home.He says he saw a poisonous snake on his property around 8:00 and shot at it only three times. Cline admits one of those shots missed the snake.He says he did not know where the missed shot went, but he had no intention of putting anyone in danger..
