Lumber truck overturned Wednesday morning, spilling lumber across U.S. 82

A lumber truck overturned Wednesday on U.S. Highway 82 in Tuscaloosa County, blocking some lanes and causing traffic to back up in the Coker area. It happened around 10:30 A.M. The truck was in the Eastbound lane headed towards Northport.  State Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency redirected traffic for hours as people worked to clear the lumber and upright the truck.

It was a single vehicle crash and the driver of the semi-truck did not have significant injuries.
