Looking for fun, spooky events this fall? Here’s some options for adults

Halloween is only a few weeks away and if you are looking for some fun and spooky events, here’s some all over West Alabama that adults can enjoy and attend this October:

  • The Horror Tuscaloosa – Tuscaloosa has its first haunted house and it’s known as ‘Alabama’s Most Terrifying House’. It’s open Thursdays and weekends throughout October and tickets are on sale for $25. If you’re looking for a scare, this is a great event for you!
  • Magic City’s Witches’ Ball – Birmingham is hosting its 17th annual Witches’ Ball and you won’t want to miss it. With all new renovations, the event offers live music from a DJ, food and “drinks straight from the cauldron”. The event is 21 and up and begins at 8 p.m. Oct. 23.
  • Fourth Annual Halloween Bar Crawl – On Oct. 30, Birmingham is hosting ‘the biggest bar crawl’ ever with a $1,000 costume winner grand prize! Two free drinks and food are included with the purchase of a ticket and there will even be an after party. Tickets cost around $20, so get yours today before they sell out! 
  • Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner with Ghost Hunt – Back by popular demand, this PG-13 event will include a haunted, murder mystery dinner as well as a ghost hunt at the historic Arlington Home in Birmingham! The event is Oct. 30, and it’s a one of a kind event that you won’t want to miss. Get your tickets today!
  • Halloween Dinner Party – If you’re looking to go all out this Halloween with a costume, then this is the event for you. Grab your friends and come join this spooky dinner party Oct. 30 in Birmingham. Masks are required, but you can make them extravagant. There will be live music, drinks and food as well as a cash costume prize!
  • Pink Box Burlesque’s 13th annual Rocky Horror Picture Show – Get your throwing arm ready for PBB’s Halloween night spectacular at the Bama Theatre. Tickets are running out (as are the prop bags), so hurry up and grab some ASAP. This event is 18 and older only; doors open at 6:30, costume contest at 7, event begins at 7:30. It’s $15 for general admission, or $21 for admission and a prop bag.
