Local organizations and groups are invited to participate in Shelton State Community College’s “CONNECT” event, which is designed to connect students with community resources and organizations.

This year’s opportunity for local groups to connect with Shelton State students will be Wednesday, Sept. 8 in the Martin Campus Atrium from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There is no fee to participate in this year’s event, but registration is required to reserve a space for groups or organizations.

Lunch will not be provided, but there will be a food truck available on campus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the day of the event.

“This annual event has grown to the point that we are hosting two days – one for our campus groups and a separate day for our community partners,” said SSCC Student Engagement Coordinator NorQuina Rieves in a statement. “We are excited about having members of our community on campus on Sept. 8, and we look forward to another successful event alongside them.”

To register for a table, visit CONNECT 2021. The deadline for vendor registration is Sept. 1, 2021.
