TUSCALOOSA HOLDS VIGIL FOR CHARLESTON VICTIMS

Bethel Baptist Church in Tuscaloosa paid their respects to the victims of Charleston, S.C., on Monday.

Just days ago, a gunman opened fire inside Emanuel AME Church, killing nine.

WVUA spoke with local pastor Schmitt Moore who said he’s happy the tragedy did not stop the church.

Tuscaloosa’s Southern Christian Leadership Conference chapter spread the word about the service and received responses from many local church leaders..
