TUSCALOOSA – Local charities and organizations in Tuscaloosa are still in need of help for the holidays.

Focus on Senior Citizens, a group that helps the elderly in the Tuscaloosa community, makes Christmas food baskets with non perishable foods to deliver.

They will accept both food and cash donations, as well as small presents.

The Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter has over 100 dogs and cats, and even a bunny available to adopt. Beyond adoptions, the shelter is always in need of monetary donations, dry food, and volunteers.
