LITTLE MISS WEST ALABAMA HAS A BIG HEART

Six-year-old Kallie Hunnicutt may small in size, but she has a big crown and an even bigger heart.  As Little Miss West Alabama, Kallie is used to being recognized. Now, she’s using her title to shine the spotlight on the law enforcement officers who keep her safe.

It’s hard to escape the news of the recent police involved tragedies, even for a six-year-old. After Kallie’s mother Blaine Hunnicutt explained to her daughter what was happening in our country, Kallie wanted to do something “sweet” for local officers.

Evan Smith, owner of Krispy Kreme Tuscaloosa, donated 2,500 donuts to Kallie’s effort. She spent all day Thursday delivering the tasty treats to law enforcement agencies to say, “Thank You!”
