Koran Lewis found guilty of capital murder in death of Jennifer Nevin

A verdict is in for the Koran Lewis capital murder trial. The jury found him guilty Thursday afternoon.

Lewis was on trial this week for the murder of 23-year-old Jennifer Nevin’s murder in 2017. Nevin was shot to death. Her body was later found on a dirt road in Tuscaloosa County.

Deliberations in the trial started Wednesday.

Vida Confetti and Kendrick Marshall were also charged with capital murder in this case. They pleaded guilty to their murder charges and are both serving life sentences.
