KENTUCK ART CENTER MOVES BACK TO ORIGINAL LOCATION

Northport’s Kentuck Art Center is back in its original home at 503 Main Ave.

The center closed its doors and moved into a different building about two and a half years ago thanks to a bat infestation.

The bat-free and updated center boasts better wheelchair accessibility, among other quality of life improvements for shoppers, artists and employees.

Kentuck Executive Director Amy Holt Echols said the center is a valuable part of the Northport community.

“For every dollar people put into Kentuck, it results in $12 back into our community,” Echols said. “So we are always looking for ways to enhance this area culturally, educationally and now visually.”
