JAMES MINYARD ARRANGEMENTS ANNOUNCED

Final arrangements for Tuscaloosa City School Board District One Member James Minyard have been announced.

Visitation is being held Friday from noon to 7 p.m. at Will’s Funeral Service, located at 701 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Northport.

The funeral service is Saturday at Elizabeth Baptist Church, on 2650 Elizabeth Street in Tuscaloosa. Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m., and services begin at 2 p.m.

School board members and the superintendent are serving as honorary pallbearers. Internment will follow at West Highland Memorial Gardens on 21st Street in Tuscaloosa.

Minyard died Tuesday at the age of 72..
