It’s Joshua McMillion’s Time to Shine for the Tide

It has been quite a turnaround for Joshua McMillon compared to last season. In fall camp as a redshirt senior in 2019, McMillon was running and practicing with the first team at inside linebacker next to Dylan Moses and the rest of the defense.
Unfortunately, his 2019 season was over before it could even get started. McMillon tore his right ACL in fall camp and was out for the season.
His story and legacy for the Crimson Tide isn’t over just yet though. McMillon was granted a special medical redshirt and is coming back for a sixth college football season.
McMillon said the decision to return wasn’t a difficult one, and if the 2019 projections are true, we should be seeing a lot of him throughout the 2020 college football season for the Crimson Tide.
“It was just a bad taste left in my mouth from the past season. Going 11-2, I don’t want to end my college career on a bad note like that. I don’t think anyone who came to the University of Alabama would want to end their season like that. Just being here, being a leader, seeing other guys in the past and not living up to that standard, it didn’t feel right leaving,” McMillon said.
