HUNTINGTON PLACE CELEBRATES STUDENTS’ PASSIONS

Huntington Place Elementary School’s core values are honesty, kindness, compassion, responsibility and respect.

This year, the school wanted to put those in action.

HPES held a “pick your passion project” day, where organizations set up tables and provided demonstrations on how students and teachers can serve the community.

Each class selected a local agency to partner with including the West Alabama Food Bank, Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter, Tuscaloosa’s One Place, and many more.
