HUNTER CREEK ROAD BRIDGE TO BE REPLACED

Improvements to the Hunter Creek Road Bridge in Northport could soon make your drive a little bit easier.

The bridge has been out of service for a month.

It will cost $450,000 to build.

The Alabama Department of Transportation will cover 80% of the cost and the City of Northport will pay the remaining 20%.

The bridge will be complete in October.
