HOOVER TEEN EJECTED FROM VEHICLE, KILLED IN I-59 CRASH

SPRINGVILLE, Ala. (AP) – Alabama State Troopers say a Hoover teen died in a single-vehicle crash in St. Clair County.

Senior Trooper Chuck Daniel identified the victim as 19-year-old Haley Michelle Davidson.

Daniel said the crash happened at 6 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 59 in Springville. He said Davidson was the driver of a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a bridge.

He said she was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from her vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation.
