HONOR FLIGHT OFFERS VETERANS A CHANCE TO SEE WASHINGTON

Wednesday was a special day for some of Alabama’s Greatest Generation.

The Tuscaloosa Rotary Club’s final Honor Flight brought a plane full of veterans and their guardians to Washington, D.C., so they could see the memorials honoring them and get a taste of the capital.

For many of it veterans, it was their first time seeing those monuments.

WVUA 23 will be airing a full report of the trip on May 18.
