As our prolonged heat wave begins, a Heat Advisory goes into effect on Monday, August 21st from 10 AM – 9 PM and covers most of Central Alabama. This may lead some to wonder what the Heat Advisory criteria is for our area, what it means, and how that criteria varies across the country.
