HALL AND OATES UNITES MUSIC AND HURRICANE RELIEF
By WVUA 23 Web Writer Christina Ausley
Tonight, crowds of students and community members will rush the gates of the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater for a 7:30 p.m. concert featuring music duo Hall and Oates with special guest and Birmingham native, St. Paul and The Broken Bones.
The musicians will spread more than just music across downtown Tuscaloosa as the band teams up with the amphitheater and West Alabama chapter of the American Red Cross, donating a portion of ticket sales to the organization and benefiting those affected by the recent hurricanes.
“Tuscaloosa knows what its like to be hit by a natural disaster like this,” said Michelle Smart, city of Tuscaloosa community engagement manager. “So we want our community to come together and help those in need now.”
