Mercedes-Benz U.S. International and Habitat for Humanity Tuscaloosa formally announced their partnership in Habitat Tuscaloosa’s Operation Transformation on May 2.
This initiative will construct a new neighborhood in West Tuscaloosa that will house 40 families.
Mercedes-Benz plant employees, Tuscaloosa City Schools students and Habitat Tuscaloosa volunteers will come together to build these homes.
“I hope that the team members will continue to develop their love of giving back to our community, to really immersing themselves in our community,” said Habitat Executive Director Ellen Potts.
