GULF SHORES BEACHES COULD REOPEN NEXT MONTH
Alabama beaches will soon be back open. The city of Gulf Shores said it wants to allow small businesses and restaurants to reopen in two weeks.
Gulf Shores May Robert Craft said all beaches could reopen for normal activities on May 15, as long as social distancing guidelines are still being applied. The recommendation states that beaches would open for limited recreational use on May 1.
People would be allowed to walk, run, swim, surf, fish or other similar activities. But, congregating on the beach and the use of chairs, tents or umbrellas would not be allowed.
