GREENE COUNTY DEPUTY INJURED AFTER SHOOTING

According to law enforcement officials two people have been captured for the attempted murder of a Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy who was shot at last night in Boligee.  The suspects were captured in Woodstock earlier this morning.Stay tuned to WVUA23 for the latest.

WVUA 23’s following a shooting out of Greene County. According to Sheriff Joe Benison, a suspect shot at a deputy Tuesday night on County Road 81 near exit 32 in Boligee, Alabama. Investigators say the suspect missed the officer and fled the scene in a white Dodge Charger. The deputy suffered injuries to his face and was taken to the hospital.Stay connected with WVUA 23 as we work on getting more information..
