Golfers gather on the greens for local schools
Several area golfers gathered on the greens Thursday while also supporting area schools.
The annual Nucor Steel Adopt-A-School Golf tournament was held at Ol’ Colony Golf Complex in Tuscaloosa.
The event benefited the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama’s Adopt-A-School program.
The four-man scramble included each golfer designating a public school of his or her choice to help the schools qualify for cash prizes.
