Also my colors today are purple and white because we wanted to let our residents know purple is for royalty so we did purple and white today.”

This year, Mrs. Iris Cordell was named Valentine’s queen and Mr. Joseph Silvers joined as her Valentine’s king.

“Our king this year Mr. Silvers is very good about encouraging others to come. he’ll go assist people to and from activities,” Administrator Brett Milligan said. “When we have these kinds of functions it allows a lot of opportunities for those who really may not want to participate and try to see what goes on and it’s really encouraging and it really helps our participation and all the activities.”

After the crowning of the new king and queen all celebrated with refreshments and sweets as they sat around together playing games and participated in raffle drawings.
