The 45th annual West Alabama Christmas Parade is happening Monday, Dec. 6 at 6:30 p.m.

This parade, put on each year by the Tuscaloosa County Park and Recreation Authority, is one of the biggest Christmas parades in the state, and it’s being hosted this year by none other than WVUA 23’s News Anchor Tamika Alexander and Chief Meteorologist Richard Scott.

As usual, the parade is happening in downtown Tuscaloosa, and WVUA 23 will be broadcasting live and streaming the event online for anyone who can’t make it there in person.

The route begins near the 15th Street and Greensboro Avenue intersection, travels up Greensboro to University Boulevard, turns right onto University Boulevard and ends at the intersection of University Boulevard and Queen City Avenue.
