GAS REPORT: PRICES FALL, BUT REMAIN HIGHER THAN THEY WERE IN AUGUST
Alabama gas prices have fallen 1.5 cents per gallon over the past week.
This dip comes one week after prices increased for the first time in 10 weeks. Despite this dip, prices remain 10.9 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. However, they are 25.1 cents lower than this time last year.
Currently, the cheapest gas station in Alabama is priced at $2.19 per gallon. The most expensive in Alabama comes in at $2.79 per gallon.
Nationally, the average price of gas is up 7.0 cents per gallon since last month, sitting at $2.64 cents.
