Gas prices across Alabama have fallen 2.3 cents per gallon in the past week.

Alabama’s average price is 36 cents lower than the national average coming in at $2.29 per gallon. The cheapest gas station in Alabama is priced at $2.07 per gallon with the most expensive sitting at $2.79.

Despite gas prices falling two weeks in a row, prices remain 10.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. Yet, gas is 32.4 cents lower than last year.

The national average has risen 0.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.65 per gallon. This comes in 25.3 cents cheaper than a year ago but is 9.6 cents higher than in September.
