GAS LEAK THURSDAY CLOSES DOWN CORNER OF UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

University Police shut down Hackberry Lane between University Boulevard and Margaret Drive Thursday afternoon because of a gas leak.

The University evacuated several buildings, including Nott, Lloyd, Gallalee and Mary Harmon Bryant halls as a precaution.

No injuries were reported, and those buildings were reopened a short time later..
