Former Tide player recovering after being shot in DC

A former University of Alabama running back and current NFL player is recovering after he was shot during a robbery attempt in Washington, D.C.. on Sunday.

Brian Robinson Jr. last played for the Tide in 2021.

Investigators say he was shot in the lower part of his body.

Robinson is listed in stable condition at a Washington, D.C., hospital.
